Craig, just for the record: the B-3 is not a "Reichsbahn" (that was the German railway administration until 1945) but a "Bundesstraße" (Bundesstrasse, federal street). Judy, did you notice there is still a family named Schlageter in Oberschopfheim? Two more families, probably relatives, are living in neighbouring towns. It is just east of A-55 (Autobahn) and more closely B-3 (Reichesbahn). It's about 13km (as the crow flies)east of the Rhein River. This is the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) region.
