Hello Everyone: Other than family search where would I look to find records for Schliengen, Germany? I have family coming in from there about 1600 to France. Any help and/or diretion you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Walk in peace, Linn

I use two sites for a lot of my German research 1.  http://www.online-ofb.de/   this is the Genwiki site for Germany.   This is the page for looking up families by city area...   other tabs have good info also.   Some parts are in English most is in German but you can use something like www.freetranslation.com to get an idea of what it says.   2.  http://www.geneanet.org/   a lot of our European cousins post their trees here.   Caution, these are user donated trees so they may contain mistakes...
