Mary Lou, There are no BOLTZ, BOLTZE, or BAULTZER on the list. There is a Karl Josef Blaser listed. He gives no age or birth place but claimed residence in Külsheim, Tauberbischofsheim, Baden. He was incarcerated in 1849 and was a member of the Revolutionary Army. He claimed to be a Dyer (Färber) His biogaphy reads: Soldat des 2. Infanterie-Regiments. Nach Mitteilung vom 26. November 1849 in St. Gallen, wegen Ausstellung eines Ausweises zur Heimkehr aus der Schweiz (49 / 2408*: 483; 48 / 3078*: 27; 49 / 2410*: 58). Bis zum Mai 1850 nicht gestellt, daher Staatsbürgerrecht aberkannt (215 / 379: 92; GAUK, 1850, S. 525). Am 11. Juni 1850 von St. Gallen nach Amerika bzw. England emigriert (236 / 8536*; 236 / 8576*). I also found a Karl BOLZ if that may be of interest to you. He was born about 1825. He claimed residence in Eggenstein, Karlsruhe Land, Baden. This guy was also incarcerated in 1849.
