    3. Extremely helpful, Patricia. Thanks! According to the website (http://www.archiv.elk-wue.de/family-research/ ), "Copies of all our microfilms are also in the possession of the Genealogical Society of Utah. For information ask: Family History Library, 35 North West Temple Street, Room 344, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84150-3440, USA." But I do not get any results mentioning Eschelbach when searching FamilySearch Catalog for Title = Familienregister. Does that indicate I need to contact the Stuttgart archive to have their staff do the research? Again, thanks for the lead! -----Original Message----- From: Patricia Stasch [mailto:patricia.stasch@uni-tuebingen.de] Sent: Saturday, March 1, 2014 2:13 PM To: baden-wurttemberg@rootsweb.com; Carol Hornung Subject: Re: [BW] Familienregister Carol, they are called "Familienregister" normally. For protestant churchbooks search here http://www.ekiba.de/html/content/familienforschung808.html (Baden) http://www.archiv.elk-wue.de/kirchenbuchdatenbank/ (Wuerttemberg) You can find a general introduction into the archive here http://www.archiv.elk-wue.de/family-research/ Good luck!
