He himself was born in Stuttgart in 1734: --The Sire Jacques Nicolas VALOIS… born in Stoutgardt in Germany as witnessed from the certificate of the baptistery on the 29th of January 1734 signed by Jean George BLANCHOT protestant minister in the French church of the said city of Stoutgardt where he was baptized by the said BLANCHOT acting minister of whom it is also witnessed that he was baptized by Reverend father BENNO Capuchin friar deputy established by the Court of Rome in the said church of Saint Etienne on the following September 20th… Is there a St Stephens church in Stuttgart?
