    3. What I can see are two letters between "B" and "u" (with a vertical line above), and the end of the word looks like "nn" just like in Anna or Johann below. I think the name is in nominative, but not the profession, here I read "Wagnern", too. So I would stick to Braumann. Then searching for "Braumann Sessenheim" or "Braumann Alsace" there are some results (also written "Brohmann"). There are also results in http://meta.genealogy.net/ but rather widespread in Germany. Nonetheless René is right, other entries with "Brau..." names would be helpful. Or just a list of family names in Sessenheim from that time.
