    3. Carol, Some of my Lipp ancestors were born in Sinsheim. When I went to Salt Lake and used the FHC microfilms, I found film LDS 1049297, that contains all the Familienbuch for my Sinsheim ancestors. It’s a great resource, since I was able to find lots of information about these families. I am sure there are other Familienbuchs at FHC.     3. Russ, Carol, et al, I haven't read all your posts but this may be helpful. Sinsheim records are available on line at the Landesarchiv Karlsruhe. They are mainly church records for dozens of towns surrounding Sinsheim. Dates are about 1810 to 1870. I have found dozens of records for my Hörig ancestors in Rastatt, Kuppenheim, Oberndorf, Bischweier, and several other small towns near by.
