Did your family live in New Jersey at all? I stumbled across a "Link" (Mary, I think, but not certain) that is buried in the same grave as my great uncle and aunt. I have no idea who she is. -Dave --- On Sun, 9/21/08, SaeeIa@aol.com <SaeeIa@aol.com> wrote: > From: SaeeIa@aol.com <SaeeIa@aol.com> > Subject: Re: [BW] Link genealogy > To: baden-wurttemberg@rootsweb.com > Date: Sunday, September 21, 2008, 8:27 AM > I searched the ISTG website, and I found a Johann Link who > arrived in 1872. > _http://immigrantships.net/v4/1800v4/main18720817_02.html_ > (http://immigrantships.net/v4/1800v4/main18720817_02.html) > > You might have better luck searching yourself there. > > In reference to your comment: > > > > >> Hello: I am searching for my Link/Hohm > ancestry. HI in the 1870's my gggrandfather Leopold Link came to America. New York Manhattan, Willliamsburg area from Erlenbach, and Laudenbach on the Mein River, Bavaria/Germany in 1880's they moved to Jersey City and surrounding area. Some of my branch went to Chicago, some went to Rhode Island, some went to Sussex NJ. Are you a Link?? Would love to hear from you. I just saw this in your reply email to me. By chance do you know where I can find the birth and marriage records for my relatives in Erlenback? I just learned our family was from there...
