It seems like each week by reading the many messages I learn something new about the Germany of my ancestors. One of our members is having some difficulties about the area of Sigmaringen/Hohenzollern. When I enter this area I was amazed at the history of it and the many changes over the past. Check it out, it is interesting. There are also problems with name mis-spellings. My GGrandparents left Bremen Germany, on a German ship and yet they spelled their name incorrectly. They spelled FEHLINGER - FAILINGER and also in some of my copies of official or church records I see the name spelled often, with a letter change in one paragraph. Fehlinger, Failinger and Fellinger. To add to this problem, there is a large group of Fellingers in Germany. Bill FEHLINGER - New Jersey **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
