    2. The Christian Ranknecht on the 1880 Ohio census might be Christian Friederich Bauknecht born 8 sep 1857 also in Neckarhausen. He was age 24 on the census. When I go to the IGI website and find the town of Neckarhausen. There is just one set of records, births from the Protestant (Evangelische)church. Here you will find the Johann Carl I mentioned earlier plus a whole lot of other Sterrs plus, and here's the bigger news, a lot of people named Eisinger, including a woman named Anna Elisabetha Eisinger, born 28 January 1842. The Toledo census report showed John Carl's wife as 8 years younger than her husband. That's close enough to be a possibility for your ancestors since the census may have come after her birthday and before his, in which case we would think of them as being 9 years apart. Anyhow I hope this is of value, and may unlock some paths which had been eluding you. Best luck. Eric **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here.
