I would like some help if at all possible, My maiden name was Bock and I know that is a German name. I have found my family back to the revolutionary war. Michael Bock signed up in Harrison County, Va. { that is now W.Va.} I have his papers from the revolutionary war and it said that Michael and his father moved down the Monongaila River, But it never said who his father was, no name. The family was always told that Michael's father was a Hans Michael Bock that came to the United States at a very early age. I found a Leonard Bock that came to the United States in 1731 with his family, a Wife Elizabeth Kiefer and five children, One son was Hans Michael Bock one or two years old and the time line fits, Hans would have been around twenty-eight years old when my Michael was born, so this is possible. This family went to Bucks County, Pa. And then I can't find them. Michael's war papers said that Michael and his father moved from Fredricktown, Md. I would like to connect these two people if possible. Please help me find out what happend to Hans Michael Bock after he landed in the United States.> > Thank You> > Kathy> > sterntj@hotmail.com> > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________> Get ideas on sharing photos from people like you.
