    3. Hello everyone, I am a new member. My name is Karlheinz Zolk. I am from the town of Langenbruecken/Baden/Germany. Langenbruecken is now a district of Bad-Schoenborn. Some of my ancestors emigrated to America. I am interested where and how they lived. And maybe I can made contact to descendants of them. My ancestors from Langenbruecken are: Zolk, Jonitz, Knebel, Weick and from Kronau/Baden: Ehrbrecht, Fuchs, Moch. Last year I visited Highland IL where many of emigrants from Langenbruecken, Mingolsheim, Oestringen, Malsch and Rettigheim settled. Also Sebastia Zolk an ancestor of me. I visited the old Zolk farm and meet relatives and friends. A great trip. If you need information about your Langenbruecken ancestors please contact me. Greetings from Germany Karlheinz

    3. Welcome Karlheinz, Do you have given names for the family names you have mentioned, where they might have gone and approximate dates of immigration? I have found many Zolks, Knebels, and Jonitz on our census records. One in particulare is Karl Jonitz, wife Emma and daughter Frida. They left Langenbruken around 1892 on the ship Wieland. They are on the 1900 census in the state of Ohio.
