    3. Hi Vicki This may be a stretch but I'll pass it on anyway. My sister-in-law, now deceased, was named Cleo Kesse. As far as I know she was orphaned when her parents were killed in an automobile accident When and where I do not know. She spent some time in an orphanage and eventually taken in by an aunt. The time frame of this was possibly the late 1920's and 1930's in New Orleans, La. The US 1920 Census reports list a Christian Keese, age 39 and from Ontario Canada, with an English background. Except for the Census Report the information I gleaned was transmitted verbally. If any of this shows promise drop me line and I may be able to check New Orleans records Good Luck Max Burgdorf BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; } On Wed 10/29/08 2:14 AM , "Chris & Vicki" keewey@xtra.co.nz sent: My great grandfather Conrad Friedrich Christian KEESE b. 1860 in Germany and d.1921 came by ship to Adelaide, South Australia and then settled in Toowoomba, Queensland where he met and married his wife, Catherina NUSS. His parents names were Friedrich KEESE and Sophia WOLTERS. I presume that they lived in Germany. Do these names ring a bell with anyone? 3. Hi Max There may be a connection somewhere. Maybe other members of the family went to Canada. At the moment, I have no idea. Not much help sorry.
