Who knows anything about following MAIER-Family: Katharina Maier (born 01.07.1836 in Joehlingen/Baden) mother Philipp Maier (born 04.05.1869 in Joehlingen)my greatgrandpa Franz Karl Maier (born 31.05.1864 in Joehlingen) brother Joseph Maier (born 07.01.1875 in Joehlingen) brother they all arrived by the ship "S/S Frisia(Fresia named in America) of the HamburgAmericaLine on 19.05.1875 in New York. After arriving(so the story of my greatgrandpa) his mother disappeared.Only the 3 boys were there.Philipp and one of his brothers they came to two different families.The third boy was taken by the captain of the ship(maybe the baby).Philipp did not see neither his brothers nor his mother in life again.When Philipp was about 19 years old, he returned to Germany.But nobody knows anything about the ways they have gone in America. I have learnt days ago, that the captain of the ship was a German too,his name Emil Maier(but not an ancestor of the family).Maybe he arrived in Germany with the little Joseph?Or maybe not.
