I use Google maps all the time, but this time I'm stumped. Has anyone ever heard of Inge Village in/near Veringenstadt, Baden-Wurttemberg? Thanks -Dave
It's not on the Michelin map of B-W, but Veringenstadt is. Prime location in the South Black Forest. Probably vacation property now. What time period are you looking for? These small hamlets and villages were absorbed by larger municipalities as Germany consolidated throughout the 19th century. You might find the name kept alive in street or place names of the remaining town. Enjoy your hunt. There is a village called Inneringen, which is 3.6 miles east of Veringenstadt. Is there any chance that could be the village you're seeking?
