Dorothy, could be Widmaier. But there are endless ways of spelling that name: Wittmeyer, Widmeyer, Wiedmeyer, Widmayer, Wittmeier, Wittmayer, Widmayer, Widmaier, Widmeier, Wiedmayer, Wiedmeyer, Wiedmaier, Wiedmeier. If we don't have the exact name it is hard to find him. Are you sure his name is just Casper or maybe Johann Casper? Do you know about when he emigrated, and also when about is he born? If you have these additional information that might help a lot. I just found a Kaspar Wiedemaier from the city of Ehingen/Donau, emigrated in 1866. This is the closest. Could that be him?
