    3. On the marriage record for the marriage to her second husband (my grandfather) the minister wrote in the margin that she was from Mohringen, Wuerttemberg-Baden. That is all I know (and I have been told that it could not possibly be Wuerttemberg-Baden, it had to have been Baden-Wuerttemberg.) Nevertheless that is what he wrote. It was 1895.
