I am searching for my ancestors in the area of Mengen and Schallenstadt. 4 brothers emigrated to the usa. My grt-grt-grandparents Henry and Minnie (probably Whilemina) and son Wilhelm Frederich GIESELMAN. They arrived in New York in 1836, the brothers got separated and my family show up in Vanderburgh county, Indiana in 1856 as per marriage liscense of Wilhelm F, and Magtalena Gostley.
