Greetings -- Researching Margrete/Margaret Ege who emigrated to U.S. ca 1840-1855 and married Henry Beerhalter in, I believe, Philadephia. Perhaps she was already married to him at time of emigration. Believe she may have been related to John Ege who is found in Peoria census in 1860. He emigrated in n18465, and I have found him, I believe, on a ship arriving in New York on June 1, m1846. This ship indicates that he came from Dehlingers/ Detingen.
