    3. David, Although the village Veringendorf is currently in the modern state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, at the time your ancestors were there it was part of the Kingdom of Hohenzollern. ShtetlSeeker shows it is about 43 miles S of Stuttgart. ShtetlSeeker shows no Habstahl, but there is a Hebstahl about 52 miles N of Stuttgart in Hesse.
