Hi Marchia, do you think they lived in Hechingen (Hohenzollern)? I check the papers. I can't find Julie Amalia Egler. Saxonia is fare from Hechingen. Do you ckecked the ship list from Bremen? There is a group, called "Maus", they typ the list in a database in. I haven't the internet page, but use google.de for it. This family is very confusing. When they came to America they all stopped using their given names and started using their middle or Christian names as their given names. Gottlieb Brucker, born 7 September 1867 in Matterdingen, Baden, Germany was my Grandfather. I am looking for his parents and any siblings. Family lore states that he had 17 brothers and sisters. One came to America, Rochester, NY with him; August Brucker born abt.1864. Both brothers came to America in 1884. Their parents are listed as George Brucker and Magadlene Buerklen (possibly Buerrglen?) Hermina Miller (Mueller) was born 1 April 1871 in Meiningen, Saxony, Germany was my Grandmother. I am looking for information on her parents and any siblings that did not emigrate with them. Her parents were Casper Gustave Mueller, born abt 1841 and Julie Amalia Egler born abt 1843. This family did live in Heinrich for a while, Anna was born there abt 1875. Family lore states Gustave and Amalia had eleven children, 4 children; all girls came to America with them. Gustave, Amalia, Hermina, Emma, Nellie and Anna Mueller all emigrated in 1884. While in Germany Gustave worked making stained glass windows, if that is any help. I do not have any names for any of the family members that did not emigrate with them. Thank you for any help you can give me.
