Anna Barbara Renz b 1818 married Gottlieb Mammel b 14 Jun 1803 from Kuppingen (near herrinburg/stuttgart). They had a child Maria Margareta b 05 May 1846 in Kuppingen before coming to Amerika in 1847. I am looking for her family. Contact the Municipal Archives for New York City. You should be able to get a copy of thier marriage record. Sometimes marriage records give you a lot of of information. I got my great grandparents marriage record this way and it told me that one of them had been married before and it also told their parents names and they were married in 1890. They have a website that you can get all of the information from them about ordering documents. The last time I ordered something from them it cost $12. Very reasonable in this day and age.
