Looking for info on these 3 BENNETT men from NJ who went to Ohio by 1816. Lindsey BENNETT b. 1793 NJ md 1817 Rachel OAKLEY in Wayne Co. Ohio moved to Lorain Co. Ohio then to Wabash Co. Ind for a short time, then to Barry Co. Missouri. Charles BENNETT b. 1801 NJ md abt 1821 prob. in Wayne Co. Ohio to Phoebe (nee?) lived in Wayne Co til the early 1840's then moved to Jay Co. Indiana (this is my line) then after Charles died Phoebe and some of their children moved to Richland Co. Wi. Aaron BENNETT between 1775-1794 may be the father or older brother of Lindsey & Charles. The name Aaron comes down the family lines. He lived in Wayne Co. Ohio until the late 1820's when he also moved to Lorain Co. Ohio by 1830. His wife either died in Wayne or Lorain Co.
