For Cindy Crafton (Original message below): My g-g-g-g-grandparents, Hardiman Bennett and Permelia (Young) Bennett had a son named Holliman (or Holloman), who was born in Haywood County, NC, possibly 1817, though I do not have his exact date of birth. I suspect your Holloman is this same person. All I know about Holloman/Holliman is that he left the home in the late 1830's to work on the Georgia Railroad. I found this reference in a VERY obscure reference in the Lenoir family papers (microfilmed) held at the UNC Wilson library at Chapel Hill. If you believe this is your line, let me know and I will send you other information.
