I have been stuck on this part of my family for so long I am not ure where to go from here... my g-g-g-grandfather was JACOB BENNETT. I do not know his parents' names. He was born About November 1830 in Mercer Co. PA. He Married AMANDA STRAIN in Putnam Co. OH April 18, 1861. He served as a Pvt in Comp B 18 Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. According to the census info I have, both of his parents were born in PA also. Their children include: THOMAS E. (b. 1862), MARY F.(b. 1864) ALBERT (b. 1868), NORMAN WILLIS (b. May 20, 1873 Putnam Co OH) AMOS (b. January 1876) and HERMAN (b. May 1879). Unfortunately, this is all that i have on Jacob. Can anyone help me? I can go into more detail with atleast Norman.
