Seeking information on the following BENNETT family. Aaron BENNETT b. 1750-60 md by 1793 in NJ moved his family to Pa by 1803 then to Wayne Co, Ohio by 1816. His wife must have died by 1820. Possible sons: Lindsey b. 1793 NJ md Rachel OAKLEY 1817 Wayne Co. Ohio Charles b. 1801 NJ md Pheobe (nee?) by 1821 poss. in Wayne Co. Ohio son Aaron Jr b. 1801 NJ md Hulda Ann WATKINS in 1827 Wayne Co. Ohio Possibly a daughter Mary b. 1803 in Pennsylvania and who is in Aaron Jr's home in 1850. Charles staid in Wayne Co until the late 1840's when he moved his family to Jay Co. Indiana. Charles and Pheobe had: Joseph, John R., Washington, Sarah, Emmaline and two others poss the Rachel and Wm who died in the 1850 mortality Schedule for Jay Co. Joseph & John lived in Mercer Co. Ohio, the other three and wife Phoebe came to Wisc. after Charles death in 1856. Lindsey, Aaron Sr & Aaron Jr moved to Lorain Co. Ohio by 1830, then to Wabash Co. Indiana by 1840 where Aaron Sr must have died. Aaron Jr and Hulda were in the 1850 Wabash Co Indiana census with these children: Elizabeth, Elijah, Joseph, Alexander, Phoebe, Aaron , Jeremiah, Mary. The family disappears in 1860 from Wabash Co. Lindsey moved his family from Wabash Co. Indiana to Barry Co. Missouri in 1850 and then to Stoddard Co. Missouri in 1860. He may have died there. Lindsey and Rachel had the following children: Samuel, Sarah, Elizabeth, Aaron, William H, Mary Jane, Abraham, Edith, Lindsey, John, and Taylor.
