My gggm Ann or Nancy BENNETT Washburn was born in NC, ca 1800, according to Missouri burial records of my ggm Ursulla Washburn Stanley. She was supposed to have been a Cherokee, and I'm told that mixed marriages were not always officially recorded. I don't know if she was from Montgomery County or not, as my information is limited to the above. Would be interested in knowing if anyone might have even a remote a connection.
