Haven't posted here in quite awhile. Thought I'd give it another try in hopes that some new people didn't see my original query: My ancestor, Aaron Gaskill married a woman named Edith. His son Abraham, named one of his children Abram Benit (his spelling) and one Edith Bennett. I think it possible he named them for his mother's maiden name. According to Abrahams Bible, Edith was born 6 November 1762. In 1827 they were in the Pemberton NJ area. Their first child was born 1783 so the marriage was probably about a year prior to that. I would like very much to contact anyone with information about Edith and her family.
