Hello, I am searching for the family of my missing Ancestress, Jane W. Bennett. We know very little about her, other than she was born in S.C. about 1815, and was married 1st to a James W. McCord, and had 2 children by him -- Sueritha Juliett McCord b. 1838 in Benton Co., TN, and James McCord b. 1840 in TN. The next I find of this family is when Jane W. Bennett McCord remarries in 1849 in Lafayette Co., Arkansas to Atlas O'Neal, and then moves on to Texas, where she lives out her life and has another 6 children.
