Francis M. Bennet married Frances (aka Nancy) McKelvy 26 Nov 1857 in Franklin Co, TN. They had six children before Francis (aka Frank) died circa 1878/79: Jackson (aka Grover) b. ca 1860, Charlotte Malinda b. ca 1854, Ida M. b.1868, Jarrid b. ca 1871, Sarah b. ca 1874, Mary E. b. ca 1878. Nancy, a widow and the five younger children are living in Linclon Co, TN by 1880 (per census report). Charlotte M. married Robert Kelly Norman of Lincoln Co, TN and Ida M. married his brother George W. Norman. The Normans lived in Madison Co, AL (New Market area). I am trying to locate Francis (aka Frank) M. (or N.) Bennet's parents. I thought his father was John M. Bennet of Franklin Co but have since learned that another Francis Marion Bennett can claim that ancestry.Does anyone recognize this family? I would be grateful for any information...
