There are several candidates being mentioned in various genealogies but none seem to meet the facts. Anthony's father seems to have died before 1652 because in that year his mother Elinor, remaries Richard Window of Gloucester. Anthony is mentioned in the Will of his uncle Richard Bennett of Boston. Anthony had a sister named Elizabeth who married Jacob Davis of Beverly. After Richard Window and Elinor died Anthony seems to have resided in his sisters home in Beverly until he married Abigail ? Jacob Davis was an overseer of Windows will. The L.D.S. records show Anthonys father as John who was born in 1615 in England but I have found no documentation for that. others supose he was Peter, Others that he was John son of Samuel son of Edward, this last can not be correct since Anthony's father must have been born between 1615 and 1625 making him to old to be a son of Samuel.
