This is my first time posting on the BENNETT list. I'm looking for anything on James Bennett c1756-1795 who lived in Fairfield Twp Cumberland Co NJ (South Jersey). He m'd Dorcas Bateman. I'm descended from their son Richard who m'd Ann Husted. Bennetts first came to Cumberland Co in the late 1690s from Fairfield CT. I have not been able to connect my James to these Bennetts.
