hello to all since I'm new to the list I'll post what I have. John Thomas Bennett b. 1825\6 in Franklin Co.,TN d. 9 Aug 1903 NM married 24 Nov 1870 in LA a Margaret E. Seeders b.1832 Baton Rouge, LA. He was also called "Capt."--beleived to have been a TX Ranger at some time. They had 5 daughters Minerva Susan, Martha Elizabeth,Lucretia Imogene, Margaret Velma and Kittie Vera--twins. Minerva Susan was b. Commanche Co.,TX as we beleive all the girls were. Minerva Susan Married James Franklin Hancock- these are my great grandparents. THE DILEMMA--looks like John Thomas BENNETT was born in a cabbage patch!! Can't find further info on him or his parents. Any info would be helpful. Thanks-- Debbie
