He was born November 1830 in Mercer Co. PA. He married Amanda Strain April 16 or 18, 1861 in Putnam Co. Ohio. He served as a Yankee in the Civil War. He was a Pvt in Comp B 18 Ohio Infantry. Both of his parents were born in PA, but I don't know their names or where they were born. Their children go as follows: Thomas E. b. 1862 Mary F. b. 1864 Albert b. 1868 Norman Willis b.
