List Subscribers, Help! I am swamped with work, non-genealogy related. My work has taken me out of town most of the month and I find very little time to work on genealogy and mail list management. This situation will last for the next 6 to 9 months and feel that I am not properly managing the lists that I manage - B530 Bennett and R100 Riffe. I am asking if anyone would like to take over the list manager duties for the mail list. The basic responsibilities are: 1. Reviewing, deleting errant email postings that have bad email addresses. 2. Manually subscribing and unsubscribing list members who forget how to do it automatically. 3. Rarely, putting out flame wars and list disputes. The sponsership of the list at Rootsweb is voluntary at $25 dollars per year and additional information can be found regarding sponsership and management tasks can be found on their website at www.rootsweb.com.
