Am seeking any info on a John & Clarissa (??) BENNETT. They are known to have "appeared" in Bedford County, PA in the mid-1700s, where they had at least one child, Joseph, b. 1733, d. April 14, 1815. Buried "Bennett Family Cemetery", Chaneysville, Bedford County, PA. Joseph married a Rachel ??, and then had at least nine children. My question spurs from some information (unverified) stating that John & Clarissa had came from the Shenandoah Valley area of Virginia.
