    3. Hello all you Bennett I have not found any of you that have information on My GGG Grandmother Pernia/perrinnah/perniany Bennett that married George Washington Butcher March 11, 1830 and several other ways I have seen it spelled. But here is some information that might help some of you. Henry Bennett B: about 1629 in Bermingham, England Came to America about 1662 on the Menerva to Philadelphia, PA. (Have not fount the arrival date of the SHIP The Menerva Made 5 Trips . )He was a blacksmith and was 23 years old and came as a indented servant it is possible that he married Lydia Perkins and it had to be after he arrived in America. She was born in Boston MA. And they died in Ipsnich, MA She died in 1672. Because of his date of arrival in America his Marriage Had to be after 1662? Their children were Jacob, John, William, Henry Jr., Thomas, and Benjamin. Hope some one out there can use this information. Frank

    3. Hi BENNETT Researchers, It's been a while since I've posted anything but I'm still looking for info on Reuben Bennett b Abt 1818 probably in Wysox, PA. He married a Mary NEWELL b Abt 1832 and the daughter of Hezekia NEWELL and Sally TUTTLE NEWELL of Wysox. I feel perhaps the new info on Reuben's wife(the NEWELL connection) may help. I have a picture of a lady, I believe to be her now displayed on my home page. The picture says she,(if it's her) died on Sept. 7, 1915. If anyone can provide any info on her I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks all! Pete

    3. Pat: PLEASE get back to me on this one. It is very important to me. I don't think the John Calvin Bennett in Camden County was the son of Jessie. If he was, it puts an ENTIRELY different light on all of my research. You see, my grandfather was John Calvin Bennett -- not the one from Camden County and not a son of his, but a son of his brother, William Calvin Bennett. I think that both of them were children of John Bennett of McIntosh County. I've been trying to track John Calvin for years, but without success. I'd like to compare notes on his parents, because if I'm wrong, I'd like to know it. it would change my direction entirely. Again, please contact me on this one.
