I am looking for information about my wife's grandfather, James Leonard Rankin. He was born October 22, 1916 in Dayton, OH and was married to a Nellie M. Kooken. They divorced in the mid 1940s and no one in the family heard from James again or knew anything of his whereabouts. I have tracked him down through birth records and social security records as having died in Tucson, Pima County, AZ in September 1980. Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate an obit or death certificate because I only have the month and year of death. Can anyone help me out? It has been frustrating as I am from Ohio.
