Juanita was Francisco's 2nd wife. The first was Manuela Corona. I recently found out that my Nana had a sister who died very young, probably somewhere in her teen's. Her name was Ignacia Canez, and she went by both Nancy and Natcha as nicknames. According to a census record I found, she should have been born around 1919, and I have no death date. Am trying to find out anything and everything about her. Anyone who could help...it would be very appreciated.

I would like to locate sacramental records that I believe might be located at St Augustine Cathedral. I need information on who to contact. 2. I am also looking for information regarding St. Joseph's Orphanage that was operational in the 1930 era. From the 1930 census records I found my brother and sister living in this orphanage. Is this orphanage still operational? My family lived in the Tucson area from 1900-1975. All direct family members who lived in the area have all passed away. I live out of the area now. I hope someone can answer my questions. Thank You, R Wolff

Although I am told that Peter George RULE and his brother John both returned to the UK in 1915-1918 but they went back to the US later. Seemingly they are listed in the Bisbee Mining Meseum, place of work, residence etc. that is where I was told that there were another 2 RULE by the names of George and a Thomas who I am looking for, The person who gave me this information, lives in Scotland. I was just wondering how I can get this information from Bisbee Mining Museum. Are you looking for relatives of Peter George and John RULE. If you are I can put you in touch with this person from Scotland. I should mention all these RULES that I have mentioned have come from the Camborne/Redruth areas of Cornwall, England.
Would like some more information on this group: in 1880 Pima, AZ census, John GLANCY age 40 b. Canada (parents born in Scotland) is listed as a miner. Living with him are: John T. O'ROURKE, age 15 b. CA, Robert E. O'ROURKE, age 9, b. CA. Olive M. O'ROURKE age 6 b. CA. They are listed as: 'other' in relationship to head of household.. It is possible the above Olive M. O'ROURKE later married someone with surname LEE and she died probably in AZ in 1965. Any leads or information on these people would be appreciated. Thanks, Joanne Joanne A. He is survived by his brother, Dennis D. Embry of Tucson. Crandell Embry, whose first name was from his great-grandmother's maiden name, was born on March 4, 1938 in Great Bend, KS as the first child of H. Herbert "Herb" Embry and Ruth E. Embry (Gregory). He was graduated from Central High in Phoenix in 1956, and attend Arizona State University. He joined the Army Reserves, became a drill instructor and married Wanita Fuchs in 1961. They divorced 10 years later. Crandell aspired always to be an industrial designer, which showed in the things he made as a child and his schooling later at the University of Kansas. In the late 1960s, he returned to Great Bend, KS where he started leather goods store featuring items he made. After a period of hard times, he took up his father's profession, photography and found considerable satisfaction and success with his talent until chronic pulmonary obstr! uctive disorder forced him into medical disability in 1993. He worked with zest for United Church Directors and later Olin Mills where he was asked to pilot that company's switch to electronic cameras. He lived in Kansas City, MO and last in San Antonio, TX prior to his move to Tucson. He was a master of children's photography. Throughout his life, he was quick to befriend the most to downtrodden people--a trait that created problems for him yet also brought much joy to many he touched. In the last year of his life, he showed pluck, courage and much humor facing life that required attention to breathe. This past Christmas time, he took special pains to connect with the people who loved him and knew him, opening his heart and soul to the transition he knew was coming. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church on February 7, 1997 at 4:00 p.m., River at Swan Rd. Memorial donations may be made to the Youth Tobacco Prevention Fund bei! ng set up at St. Francis to reward young people who do not smoke--a plan Crandell Embry did with his younger brother.
