Purl and Amy were close friends of my grandparents for years and years. They all originally lived in Fon du Lac and then moved to Arizona. I remember Purl coming to our house for dinner when I was a child. Sorry I don't have Purl's exact date of death but if you need anything else I'd be glad to help. I think we may have a picture somewhere of him. How are you related to Purl and Clem? Clem and Marge never had kids that I know of. Good luck on finding the obit. Deb

    3. Hi Marie, I"m not certain where the records for St. Luke's ended up when they closed in 1950. St. Luke's is now a home for elderly. They may be able to help you locate the original records. http://www.volunteersolutions.org/vctucson/org/223741.html However, there is a booklet available through the University of Arizona library Special Collections section on all the health institutes in Arizona at various times. Perhaps someone located in Tucson would be kind enough to photo copy this for you? Unfortunately, I'm no longer living in Tucson. The one on St. Luke's is called: The first fifty years of St.Luke's-in-the-Desert by John Bret Harte, editor Pub. Tucson Arizona 1972 - 30 pages Here's a link to the first 6 pages of the pamphlet they made available for online reading. It's in Adobe Acrobat format. If the link below doesn't work let me know.
