Her Parents were Jose Sanchez and Berthia Otoro. all i know is that Mary Sanchez was a full blooded Pima Indian and she died on 4-21-1949 in Orange County, California. I dont know if she had brothers and sisters or aunts or uncles. I am interested in finding my family roots. There is a rumor in my family that she was the chiefs daughter. I do not know the validity of that statement, but you never know. Any info would help. I am currently trying to register with the Pima Indian Tribe.

Well apparently my format was wrong on my last list email so they say it didn't go thru. So I will try it again. Bobbi Turner Capello researching Turner, Ramirez, Romero and Lamadrid family.

Does anyone have access to any Pima Co, marriages before 1920. I have a delima. I have a cousin LILLIE BOLT who I know had to be alive in 1920 because her father's Obit said he lost two children before he died. I have already found the two he lost. She was not one of them. She was first married to an M. E. DIEHL and had a son EMORY A. DIEHL. They lived in Wichita Kansas. She remarried to an ALONZO C. MALIN, and as far as I know right now they had no children together. They lived in Wichita, Kansas and by 1900 had moved to Pima Co, Arizona. ALONZO C. MALIN was listed in the 1920 census in Vancouver, Clark Co, Washington, married to someone else if this is the same ALONZO. I have not found any other ALONZO MALIN's anyplace that was born Kansas. I have not found LILLIE anyplace in the 1920 census, at least by the Malin Surname. She might have remarried and therefore had a different surname. I found her father in 1920 in Oklahoma which was where he was supposed to be at that time. Anyone have anything on another marriage for her? Second dilemma. The sister to LILLIE, FANNIE A. BOLT, married a HENRY MATTHEW JONES in Wichita, Kansas. They had two children ELEANOR MARIE JONES, AND HENRETTA M. JONES. He died in 1895 in Kansas. I found FANNIE JONES in the 1900 Census of Pima County, Arizona, Living next door to LILLIE and ALONZO MALIN, FANNIE was Living in the household with (?)GEORGE OWEN as head of household, she was listed as his sister-in-law and a widow. By the 1920 census she had also disappeared. Did she remarry too. Is there any records for either marriage. Does anyone have any suggestions for me as where to go next. I have not found either of them in 1910 census records, but have not looked in the whole Arizona census for 1910. Also is there a marriage for HENRETTA JONES?
