    3. Hi Glen, and Barbara, George Whitsel STEWART was born 19 January 1900 in Jerome. He died either January or February 1961 in Phoenix. He is my husband's father. George comes from a historical family in Arizona. His mother, Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of John Henry Burger, of the Burger Mines. What I was looking for was an obit. But, from what Barbara told me, there wasn't one. Just thought I would say thank you for your help and interest. STEWART documents on file at the Maricopa County recorders office from 1968 forward. None are for a George Whitsel STEWART but there is a death certificate for a George Whitney STEWART who died in Scottsdale on April 14th, 1991. I don't know if this might be your research subject you're working on for Carol given the similarity of the middle name. > > Some of spouses listed for these George W.'s include Edith D., Karen B., Delores W. (the wife of George Whitney STEWART), and Calverta. > > The mother of George Whitney STEWART was Constance WHITNEY, his father was Fred E. STEWART and his wife Delores' maiden name was WILLETT. If this turns out to be your research subject the death certificate and companion estate tax documents can be viewed and printed. > > Good luck. > > Glen F.
