The death certificate includes significant details as to her personal life and is attested to by a son who resided in Los Angeles. As the certificate was filed after 1992 you can print out a copy at no charge, same for the estate tax waiver. She was born in Frostburg (Allegany), Maryland (MD) (not far from my home town) and died of lung cancer. She was widowed at the time and had lived in Arizona for 12 years. She came to Arizona from Colorado in 1981. The tax waiver may have been requested by a relative who resides in Hawaii (HI). You can also go the the Mesa Public Library website and order a copy of any obituary they have on microfiche, if one was published. There is no charge for their service.
