    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: BAYSINGER, FORD, PLATT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xU.2ADE/397.1 Message Board Post: Hi Wendy - One of the most interesting things about genealogy research is proving or disproving family rumors. Most of those of my family have been disproven. Here's some possible help for yours. If you go to Knowx.com, a public record site where you pay per record you'll find the following entries that may help you: Death: 2 "Sylvia BAYSINGER's" listed. Search further refined on the SSN you posted and the "Sylvia BAYSINGER" that matches the number last resided in Bellmead, Texas. This doesn't prove one way or the other as to where she died, just her last residence of record if this is your Sylvia BAYSINGER. The date of death will also be included with possibly the locality of her death. The record cost is $5.95. Marriage: 1 "Silvia SYLVIA" married a "Bradley D. BAYSIGNER". Whether this is your Sylvia or not is not known. The record cost is $5.95. They were married in Texas. Divorce: 1 "Sylvia & Bradley D. BAYSINGER" divorced in Texas. The record cost is $5.95. Again, whether this is your research subject is not determineable from this web page. Address: 1 "Bradley BAYSINGER" residing in Georgetown, Texas. The record cost for the address is $3.95. There is no way to determine if this is the ex-husband of Sylvia, but the name is unique enough that it may be. If it is the ex of Sylvia he may still have records of a genealogical interest regarding Sylvia. If Georgetown Texas and Bellmead Texas are in the same county that is a pretty good clue that the records of these two persons may be related and possibly the records you could use. If you choose to use Knowx.com, use the site carefully. As a pay per record site, once you decide to buy a record on line and you press "enter", the purchase is recorded and charged to your credit card even if its not the right record. I usually suggest "sleeping on it" before you buy, so you don't end up with a impulse buy that may be valueless. Hope this helps you find more of what you're looking for. Glen F.
