Surnames: HURLEY, WETZLER Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xU.2ADE/415.1 Message Board Post: Hi Gerald - In my 1941 and 1945 Phoenix city directories I found no listings for either James William HURLEY or Betty WETZLER. There are HURLEY listings for both years, but nothing for James. There are 4 WETZLER listings for 1941 but none of 1945. I also found no HURLEY listings in my 1931 sub-directory of Phoenix for Buckeye. There are HURLEY listings for Phoenix in 1931, but again, no James. Same for 1935. Checking my 1960 Phoenix city directory there is no listing for James or Betty. However, there are three HURLEY's listed as students who would have been at least 18 years of age or older and might be of the date of birth of your unknown child of 23 May 1942. They are Helen E. but she is living with parents listed in the directory, Kath is next but again living with her mother and Robert E. HURLEY but also living with his parents. Unfortunately, no help there. Do you have any other information such as who the parents of James William and Betty are? Perhaps these new parents are living with relations. Glen F.
