Lowrey, a pediatrician and resident of Sun City West retirement community in Arizona, died Nov. 22, 2001, at age 84. A private memorial service has been held. Lowrey, who was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Mansfield, Ohio, was a professor emeritus at the University of Michigan Medical School and at the UC Davis Medical School. He moved in 1989 from California to Arizona, where he lived the rest of his life. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Y. Lowrey; daughter, Patricia Gail Kuhlhoff; sons, Thomas H. Lowrey and Geoffrey Y. Lowrey; and two grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Sun Health Hospice at 21739 N. 151st Ave., Surprise, AZ 85375.
