His children are probably still too young to be deceased, so it seems reasonable to presume they are living. I went back to Knowx.com and using their "Ultimate People Finder" and entering the surname BOBOLA only and searching on all states Knowx.com has 190 BOBOLA listings. These listings can all be purchased for $9.95 and this may a be a reasonable way to attack the problem from the long term perspective. For one thing, the name BOBOLA is unique, there are just not a lot of them in America. It's therefore likely one of these BOBOLA's is a BOBOLA archivist or family genealogist who can probably help you out. My database on the PRITCHETT surname is so large and fairly complete that I'm regularly receiving emails from researchers who are looking for a certain PRITCHETT. I got one just today. Therefore, by the process of elimination, perhaps with a boilerplate letter writing campaign to all 190 BOBOLA's, perhaps someone will provide the answers you seek if you make it easy for them to contact you. Good luck in your search. Glen F. Pritchett, USGENWEB volunteer

BOBOLA and Sherrie BOBOLA residing in Sun City Arizona. As there is no death record for a Leon BOBOLA for all states this suggests this Leon A. BOBOLA is still living. Whether this is your research subject or not cannot be determined. There were no listings for either a Tracy or Jeffery at Knowx.com or Classmates.com. You might consider investing $3.95 at the pay site Knowx.com to purchase the public record of Leon A. BUBOLA to confirm one way or the other if this is your research subject, if the subject is deceased or still living and to obtain a possible address and phone number. Good luck. Glen F. I checked my Phoenix city directories for 1955, '57, '59, and 1960 plus Mesa/Tempe/Gilbert/Chandler for 1960, '61 and 1964, plus Glendale for 1966 and Scottsdale for 1968 along with my 1975 Phoenix metro and 2003 Phoenix metro phone books and came up with nothing that was conclusive on the following names: Richard Earl STROH Jennifer Williams STROH Herman STROH Darlene STROH Franklin WILLIAMS Patricia Ann WILLIAMS There are some potential matches, but these are very limited. I would need to have middle names or initials for Jennifer, Herman, Darlene and Franklin to be accurate, and even armed with that additional information it is doubtful a match will be realized. Perhaps when you receive your birth certificate there will be more information that will prove helpful including middle names or initials, addresses, occupations or employers may be shown. Beyond my city directories I did searches on Google.com, Rootsweb.com, Knowx.com, Classmates.com and VitalRecords.com. There are only two things that I found that were interesting and possible "hits" worth exploring. First in the 2003 Phoenix metro phone book, there is a listing for a Franklin WILLIAMS III (the 3rd). The reason I found this intriguing is that in every directory I checked there were "Frank's" and plenty of them, but not a single "Franklin" listing. After examining all those resources finally a "Franklin" comes up in the 2003 white pages. The phone number for this Franklin WILLAIMS III is 480-968-5315 but with no address or city listed. However, from the area code and prefix I was able to determine the number is a Tempe, AZ. number. It could just be worth a phone call to see if this might be the son or grandson of Franklin and Patricia Ann WILLIAMS. Also Knowx.com has a listing for a "Franklin WILLIAMS III". Knowx.com is a public record pay site, and they have one record for sale for $3.95. They don't say what it is, it's probably either a deed recording or a address/phone number listing. The listing is also for Tempe, Arizona. I found a death record for a "Franklin WILLIAMS" in Arizona, but nothing is conclusive as to whether or not its your Franklin WILLIAMS. At VitalRecords.com which is co-partnered with Ancestry.com I found in the Oregon Death Index the following entry: "Name: Stroh, Herman, County: Malheur, Death Date" 11 Jan 1976, Certificate 76-00702 (the 702nd person in 1976), Spouse: Darlen (without a ending "e" - maybe a space limitation dictated the content limitation - given name appears to be Darlene), Birth Date: May 1914". To your knowledge was your grandfather Herman STROH known to have also been in Oregon? Finally, for your general information the Maricopa County Hospital was located at 3435 West Durango, Phoenix in 1960, six years before your birth. The hospital phone number in 1960 was AP 8-3541. I can find no web evidence that Richard Earl STROH is deceased. Of course all kinds of things can occur, i.e. people can change their name and when deceased a "cold" trail is left behind for researchers. Assuming his name is unchanged, my best guess is that he is probably still living. If you can develop more middle initials or find a middle name, leave a posting and I'll review the directories again. If you come up with any address, also leave a posting because I can find the property owner through the address cross directories. Once a property owner is discovered, they can be contacted if still living to see if they remember a family that habitated the property owners residence. Glen F. Pritchett, USGENWEB volunteer

As I understand it she was born a WALKER and married a WALKER. I did not find an exact match. I found Helen E. WALKER married to Marvin K. WALKER, a pharmacist. Helen M. WALKER married to Noval O. WALKER, a optomotrist. Finally a interesting spelling derivative of Helen, a Helyne WALKER married to a R. Dexter WALKER, a employee of an insurance company. Do any of your family researchers recognize any of these names of husbands or occupations? Perhaps your Helen Jacobs WALKER is in this group, but with a different middle initial due to an earlier marriage or a name change that she decided to make. Another possibility is that if anyone has an address and a date of that address I can try to do an cross directory lookup and see who was the owner of the property represented by the address in that particular era. At Knowx.com there are 4 records of a "Helen WALKER" dying in Arizona. One resided in Scottsdale. Knowx.com is pay for record site and you could buy all four records for $9.95 or just the Scottsdale record for $5.95. Usually the record will give the address and the date of death. If you have any other information that help locate her, just leave a posting. Glen F. Pritchett, USGENWEB volunteer

If you need any Maricopa County lookups, particularily in Phoenix and adjoining cities and towns, I have a large collection of city directories beginning with 1931 and ending with 1960 that may help you. Surnames: BAYSINGER, FORD, PLATT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xU.2ADE/397.1 Message Board Post: Hi Wendy - One of the most interesting things about genealogy research is proving or disproving family rumors. Most of those of my family have been disproven. Here's some possible help for yours. If you go to Knowx.com, a public record site where you pay per record you'll find the following entries that may help you: Death: 2 "Sylvia BAYSINGER's" listed. Search further refined on the SSN you posted and the "Sylvia BAYSINGER" that matches the number last resided in Bellmead, Texas. This doesn't prove one way or the other as to where she died, just her last residence of record if this is your Sylvia BAYSINGER. The date of death will also be included with possibly the locality of her death. The record cost is $5.95. Marriage: 1 "Silvia SYLVIA" married a "Bradley D. BAYSIGNER". Whether this is your Sylvia or not is not known. The record cost is $5.95. They were married in Texas. Divorce: 1 "Sylvia & Bradley D. BAYSINGER" divorced in Texas. The record cost is $5.95. Again, whether this is your research subject is not determineable from this web page. Address: 1 "Bradley BAYSINGER" residing in Georgetown, Texas. The record cost for the address is $3.95. There is no way to determine if this is the ex-husband of Sylvia, but the name is unique enough that it may be. If it is the ex of Sylvia he may still have records of a genealogical interest regarding Sylvia. If Georgetown Texas and Bellmead Texas are in the same county that is a pretty good clue that the records of these two persons may be related and possibly the records you could use. If you choose to use Knowx.com, use the site carefully. As a pay per record site, once you decide to buy a record on line and you press "enter", the purchase is recorded and charged to your credit card even if its not the right record. I usually suggest "sleeping on it" before you buy, so you don't end up with a impulse buy that may be valueless. Hope this helps you find more of what you're looking for. Glen F.
