I also have a 1975 Phoenix metro phone directory (includes Glendale) and there are three DRAGER surnames listed there however. They are: "Glenn A. DRAGER (probably your research subject) 4133 W Virginia Av (Phoenix) 272-2158". There is no listing for Agnes P. DRAGER. Second is "Donald L. DRAGER 1665 W Crescent Av Mesa 969-9677". The last is "John (NMI) DRAGER 1502 W Glendale Av (Phoenix, but near the town of Glendale) 995-2067". If this is your research subject he would have presumeably moved from Phoenix to Glendale between 1975 and his death in 1992. West Virginia Avenue is a residental area and perhaps he owned that property. That possibility can be confirmed with the Maricopa County Recorders office. If he sold the property the party he sold it to might be a relative OR the person who bought the property might still be the current owner. Perhaps that person, if still living there, could give you some clues as to who his children might have been. Given the fact that there were only two other DRAGER's listed in the metro phone book in 1975, it may be reasonable to presume one of the two might be a relative of his. If it were me, I would focus my initial research attempts on the other two DRAGER's (John and Donald) and try and track them down to query them of any relationship. If the John DRAGER who was living near Glendale (in western Phoenix City) is a son, perhaps Glenn A. moved in with his son til his last days. You can write or email the Mesa Public Library and request a obituary search for both Glenn A. and Agnes P. DRAGER. If you use the search utility at this board and search on the words "Mesa Public Library" you find instructions as to how to find the Library website. You can also call the Phoenix Public Library main branch, ask for the Reference Desk. Once connected with the Reference Desk you can ask them to do a 1975 Phoenix City Directory lookup for you. The 1975 directory should have Glenn A. listed three ways; by name, by street address and by phone number. Any of those listings may show Agnes P. as well. You could also ask them for details on the listing for John and Donald L. DRAGER. If the John and/or Donald L. DRAGER listings show they were married and that they were "head of household", that means children may be present in that household. Some city directories show a number instead, i.e.; the number "2". "2" would mean there were 2 children under age 18 living at home. Knowing that there are DRAGER children living at that time you could then do a search for DRAGER's in Phoenix area high schools at Classmates.com. If a DRAGER is listed you can send them a email and inquire if they might be the grandchild of Glenn A. an! d Agnes P. DRAGER. You didn't mention what armed service Glenn A. served in, only that he was a Master Sergeant. Both the United States Army and Air Force have such a designation. Glendale has been home to Luke Air Force Base for decades, so perhaps Glenn A. was an Air Force vet who wanted to live close to a former military billet he was fond of. I'm familiar with the cemetery Glenn A. is interred in as I have an uncle who was a USMC vet who is interred there. The cemetery used to called Cave Creek Cemetery and was renamed. It is located northeast of Phoenix. As to the reasons you haven't found a death certificate for him in Maricopa County, likely the reason is that he died elsewhere. Yavapai County has a veterans hospital as an example, and he may have died in Arizona, but not in Maricopa County. This could also help explain the time delay in his burial. Often times when someones dies in another state issues associated with obtaining official records and then transporting the remains can obviously lead to delays. If he died out-of-country, that could easily explain a two week delay. Some states maintain a master list of those residents of the state who passed away. California maintains such a list as an example. If he didn't die in Maricopa and if Arizona has a master list, you might try inquiring of the State of Arizona relative to that possibility. I have a couple of other possibilities I'll check on for you, but this information may give you some things to work on in the meantime. Good luck and Happy Hunting. Glen F. Drager 12/19/1910 - 06/23/1992 The SSDI gives his last residence as Glendale, Maricopa Co., AZ, and he is buried in the National Cemetery in Phoenix. He was a Master Sgt. However, I find no death certificate in Maricopa Co. The cemetery listing also gives his residence, and that of his (presumed) wife, as Glendale. I know that sometimes funeral homes give the funeral home as the residence (odd!), but I do think Glenn A. Drager was connected to the area and should have an obit. Significantly (?), there is a 2-week gap between death and burial for both Glenn and his presumed wife, Agnes. Agnes P. Drager 01/20/1915 - 11/09/1990; US Marine Corps, PVT Glenn A. Drager was born in SD and grew up in Minneapolis MN. Both Glenn and Agnes have MN SS#s. His parents were John A. and Lillian (Clift) Drager, who were born and raised in Ponca, Nebraska. I am particularly interested in finding any children he may have had so that I can restore to a family member a board signed and dated by Glenn Clift's grandfather, Seth Clift, in the 19th century as he worked on building a house. Thank you anyone who may know how to proceed. (There are several Dragers in Maricopa Co., and at least some are definitely not closely related to Glenn A. Drager.)

TUPPER and she's married (the documents are all filed in her married name), therefore, based on your information this probably is not the same person.
