I must say, the DeadFred.com site looks very promising as they build archives of old photo's. I personally have added the site to my list of favorites and I'll be uploading some photo's to help other researchers who are also working on the same surname lines. In case others who use this site are not aware, there are several sites that have old photo's, some unidentified but most with details. As an example, if you visit the National Archives (NARA) online you can view photo's by subject matter, surname, etc. Sometimes that elusive relative or a person of a "hard to find anything on" surname can be found there. It looks as though they had no children and did indeed marry later in life. I found Glenn in the 1932 Minneapolis Street Directory today at the Fed. Archives, where he's listed as a printer, so he stayed in the same business. Thank you also for offering to look further, but I don't believe it would serve any purpose, now we know there are no children. Glenn was an only child. Glenn's mother, Lillian (Clift) Drager, had a sister Lena (Clift) Christopherson who lived mostly in Minneapolis and is buried there, but she died in Long Island, NY, which suggests she had children. I'm hot on the trail of her descendants now. Eliminating is one the things one has to do, and it's just as useful as finding The One, so I am indeed grateful.

Archives today and dicovered Glenn living with his parents in the 1932 Minneapolis Street Directory. He was a printer, which fits the obit info. Lloyd Fisher is a slim lead, at least. And it would seem he married late and had no children, which is what I feared; but eliminating is often the best way to proceed, and I do appreciate your help. I'm now on to pursuing the other possible descendant branch from Seth Clift. Glenn, Seth's grandson, was the only child of John and Lillian (Clift) Drager. Seth's other daughter, Lena, married Alfred Christopherson and also mostly lived in Minneapolis; however, she died, a widow, in Long Island, NY, so she must have had relatives there. A lot of trouble to restore a piece of wood to one of Seth's descendants, but less so when helped by people like you, and Glen.
