I have STEVENSON-WYLIE-MCCLUSKY/MCLUSKY connections between Dalry, Lochwinnoch & Glasgow areas. When my great-grandparents John WHYATT & Margaret MCCLUSKY/MCLUSKY (both sp. on cert) wed in 1875 Dennistoun, the two witnesses were Margaret GORMAN and Hugh GORMAN. At the time Margaret's parents, John MCLUSKY & Janet STEVENSON were living nearby on Kennedy St. GORMAN meant nothing to me, but after reading the 'Muirkirk' thread, I am now wondering if there was a family connection.
